GFiber FP&A is part of the broader Finance function and provides analytical and business planning support. Our work covers everything from analyzing strategies, solving complex problems, developing first-in-kind business models to managing unit economics or evaluating and creating efficient processes for a start-up organization, with a heavy focus on operations. The Finance organization is an important partner and advisor to senior leadership, and is integral to the operations and strategy of the organization that we display high accountability and ownership to our work.

Role Description

As a Financial Analyst, you will support and directly contribute to GFiber’s growth by providing financial analysis & by managing and optimizing our key FP&A processes in partnership with the Engineering, Network, Supply Chain, and Product Strategy teams. In this key partner role, you’ll leverage your analytical, attention to detail, and consultative skills to track performance metrics and model business scenarios to inform key strategic and operational decisions (such as pricing, new product and features launches, and new deployment technologies).

In this role, you'll:

  • Lead financial modeling for Product initiatives including pricing, new product and features launches, new deployment technologies (wireless for example) and other strategic initiatives.
  • Partner closely with Engineering, Network, Supply Chain and Product Strategy leadership and their teams to develop forecasts and business plans, drive improvements to processes and productivity, and help manage strategies and resource allocations to maximize business results.
  • Execute core FP&A responsibilities, such as month-end close, collaborating with business partners and accounting to ensure accuracy and timeliness of monthly financials.
  • Deliver monthly insights on financial performance for Finance and Business leadership by developing KPIs and providing ongoing reporting.
  • Develop financial models to support Engineering and Supply Chain teams in understanding the impact of multiple scenarios and/or commercial deals.

At a minimum we'd like you to have:

  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Finance, Economics, Statistics, quantitative field, or equivalent practical experience.
  • 2 years of experience in financial planning and analysis (FP&A) and/or Investment Banking/management consulting.
  • 2 years of experience building financial and business models, with an emphasis on product and financial strategies. 
  • Experience partnering with and presenting to departmental leadership teams with an emphasis on influencing with data and modeling.

It's preferred if you have:

  • 2 years of experience with SQL.
  • Experience working collaboratively with team members to create and complete complex projects in a constantly evolving environment.
  • Ability to use verbal and written communication to convey and teach individual and cross-functional stakeholders.
  • Experience working in an ever-changing environment with a focus on building adaptable processes for a growing company.

The US base salary range for this full-time position is between $85,600 - $125,000 + bonus + cash award + benefits. As pay varies by location, your recruiter will share more about the specific salary range for your targeted location during the hiring process.
