As a Financial Analyst within the Business FP&A team at ResMed, you will play a pivotal role in supporting strategic and operational decision-making through financial analysis, forecasting, and business partnering. This role involves extensive problem-solving, continuous improvement, liaison with key Marketing and Finance stakeholders in North America to ensure efficiency, effectiveness and financial rigors.
Let’s talk about Responsibilities
Planning, Forecasting & Reporting
- Collaborates with business leaders and budget owners from the Marketing team to support financial planning, forecasting, and performance tracking.
- Key responsibilities include participating in the execution of short-range forecasting, budgeting, and reporting.
- Conducts variance analysis, cost center management, and scenario analysis.
- Prepares management reports and contributes to end of month accounting activities; Provides guidance, insights, identifies risk and opportunities.
Process Improvement & Project Involvement
- Identifies and implement process improvements to enhance efficiency and generate insights.
- Creates process documentation, preparing and delivering user training to the Marketing and Finance teams.
- Contributes to or manages projects, including system enhancements, automation initiatives, and business case development.
- Other ad hoc duties, as required
Let’s talk about Qualifications and Experience
Education & Experience
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Business, Data Analytics, or a related field.
- Minimum 3 years of relevant experience, including demonstrated business partnering with non-Finance partners.
Technical Skills
- Advanced skills in Excel are essential. Proficient in ERP systems and BI tools. Experience in Atoti, Anaplan, Tableau, PowerBI preferred.
Soft Skills
- Sharp attention to detail. Demonstrated experience with large volumes of datasets and multiple ERP systems.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills; able to partner effectively with both finance and non-finance stakeholders.
- Exceptional problem-solving skills using a logical approach. Ability to ‘connect the dots’, apply concepts, knowledge and derive insights and solutions.
- Self-starter with strong follow-through, who is deadline-driven, manage multiple priorities.
- Ability to work independently and in a team setting.
- This role is for an individual based in the USA or Canada.

Individual pay decisions are based on a variety of factors, such as the candidate’s geographic work location, relevant qualifications, work experience, and skills.
Subject to the absolute discretion of the company, this role may be eligible for an annual cash bonus payment based on company, business unit, and/or individual performance.
At ResMed, it is not typical for an individual to be hired at or near the top of the range for their role and compensation decisions are dependent on the facts and circumstances of each case. A reasonable estimate of the current range for this position is:
Total Base Pay Range
$64,000.00 -$97,000.00 USD Annual USD Annual
$67,264-$83,965 CAD
For remote positions located outside of the US, pay will be determined based the candidate’s geographic work location, relevant qualifications, work experience, and skills.
