Job Description

Job Title:              Financial Analyst (Budgeting and Financial Reporting)

Department:      Accounting

Reports To:         SVP, Chief Financial Officer

FLSA Status:        Exempt

PRIMARY FUNCTIONS: The Financial Analyst will produce budgets and forecasts for departments.  Establish departing P&L budgeting and reporting.  Monthly budget and forecast to actual analysis. Track operational efficiency by function, product and channel.  Perform ad hoc reporting requests to support the growth of the business.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Annual Budget
  • Budget to actual analysis
  • Monthly forecasts with variance analysis
  • Department budgets
  • Department P&L reporting
  • Channel performance reporting
  • Operational efficiency reporting
  • Department efficiency tracking
  • Production reporting

DESIRED PERSONAL CHARACTERISTICS:

  • Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
  • Ability to prioritize work and meet deadlines.
  • Good organizational skills to ensure data integrity
  • Strong mathematical aptitude and data analysis skills.
  • Must be a team player with strong attention to detail and able to work independently
  • Proven track record at delivering timely and accurate information in a fast-paced environment
  • Excellent critical thinking, problem-solving, mathematical skills, and sound judgment

EDUCATION:

  • Bachelor's Degree or equivalent experience

EXPERIENCE:

  • 2+ years financial reporting experience

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:

  • This position is in an office setting with computer and general office equipment. The position requires the ability to move freely around within the department and other department locations
