About The Team

The Strategic Finance team supports Life360’s strategic initiatives and operational processes, partnering closely with executives and key organizational leaders to make data-driven decisions. The team is responsible for both core finance processes, including the annual planning and monthly forecasting processes, and strategic finance support that is central to the leadership team’s financial and strategic decisions.

About the Job

The Life360 Strategic Finance team is looking for an experienced Financial Analyst to join our team and contribute to strategic planning and financial operations. In this role, you will contribute to various financial processes, focusing on revenue and COGS planning and forecasting for our Devices business. You’ll collaborate with colleagues within the business teams and the finance/accounting organization to ensure financial targets and key performance metrics are met, while helping shape data-driven decision-making throughout the company.

For candidates based in the US, the salary range for this position is $80,500-$119,000 USD. For candidates based out of Canada, the salary range for this position is $94,500-$112,000 CAD. We take into consideration an individual's background and experience in determining final salary- therefore, base pay offered may vary considerably depending on geographic location, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. The compensation package includes a wide range of medical, dental, vision, financial, and other benefits, as well as equity.

What You’ll Do
  • Act as a trusted financial business partner to the overall Devices business; supporting the Sales and Marketing teams
  • Drive the Revenue model for Devices: including unit shipments, gross revenue, contra revenue, and gross margin
  • Prepare monthly and quarterly variance analyses and reporting packages to ensure teams remain aligned with financial objectives.
  • Independently identify opportunities to improve existing finance processes and introduce automation to enhance efficiency.
  • Support the annual budgeting and planning process, as well as long range strategic planning initiatives
What We’re Looking For
  • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics or similar field
  • A minimum of 3 years experience in Corporate Finance, Investment Banking, or Public Accounting. Experience with consumer goods or electronics businesses is a plus
  • Demonstrated ability with process improvement and automation, leveraging generative AI or data transformation/visualization tools
  • Solid analytical, problem solving and critical thinking paired with intellectual curiosity and aptitude in picking up new technical skills
  • Self-starter, comfortable with working under pressure, and meeting deadlines with the ability to prioritize with limited guidance
  • Team player and the ability to work collaboratively across different functions
