The FP&A Analyst will play a key role in our Finance team by assisting in managing core financial reporting processes, administering and optimizing Workday Adaptive Insights, and partnering with our G&A functions (HR, Legal, Finance, Facilities, etc.) to drive transparency and efficiency in financial planning. This role operates at the intersection of Financial systems and processes and gets a unique perspective into the way the whole business runs. This role is ideal for someone with strong analytical skills, a knack for systems, and a collaborative mindset.
 

The day to day:
 

Adaptive Insights Administration (40%)

  • Serve as primary admin for Workday Adaptive Insights, including user management, model maintenance, and issue troubleshooting

  • Partner with IT and Finance Ops to optimize integration with source systems (e.g., Workday Financials, NetSuite, BigQuery, etc.)

  • Oversee data integrity of the Adaptive Insights instance, leading tie outs between netsuite and Adaptive, as well as Workday and Adaptive, so that all source systems are aligned with one another
     

Financial Planning & Reporting (35%)

  • Manage monthly and quarterly close reporting processes, providing P&L commentary and analysis reporting

  • Own and continuously improve recurring reporting packages and templates

  • Assist with board of director deliverables and presentations

  • Support the annual budgeting and long-range planning processes

  • Assist in ad hoc analysis and scenario modeling to support growth initiatives
     

G&A Business Partnering (25%)

  • Act as the main finance contact for G&A leaders, supporting them with budget vs. actuals analysis, headcount planning, and strategic initiative forecasting

  • Facilitate quarterly planning cycles with G&A business leaders, planning their people and non people expenses in Adaptive. 

  • Work with Benefits and Accounting to input global assumptions into forecasting models in Adaptive.

Minimum qualifications:

  • 3–5 years of relevant experience in FP&A, corporate finance, or a related field

  • Strong experience with Workday Adaptive Insights (power user experience preferred)

  • Solid understanding of GAAP financial statements and common FP&A processes

  • Advanced Excel/Google Sheets and proficiency with financial modeling and reporting

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with a collaborative approach to cross-functional work

  • Self-starter with the ability to plan effectively, multi-task, and execute timely to deadlines in a remote first workspace. 

  • Prior experience in SaaS businesses with an understanding of core SaaS metrics preferred.

Base Salary Range

$84,000.00 - $126,000.00

We believe that compensation should be reflective of the impact you have within the organization relative to the market value of your role. The estimated base salary range for this position is as listed above. Some roles may also be eligible for overtime pay. Our salary ranges are determined by job role and responsibilities and level. The range displayed on each job posting reflects the minimum and maximum target for salaries for the position nationwide. The actual base pay will vary based on various factors including job-related skills and individual qualifications objectively assessed during the interview process.
