Job Description
What You Will Do:
Budgeting and Forecasting for Commercial, Marketing & Product Management:
- Develop and lead the annual OPEX budget.
- Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual OPEX forecasts.
- Monitor and report on variances to plan, providing explanations for significant deviations.
Financial Analysis & Reporting
- Complete monthly close activities related to OPEX of supported functions such as expense accruals, inter-company charges
- Analyze historical and current data to identify trends and variances.
- Prepare reports and review results/forecast with functional leaders.
- Conduct detailed analysis and provide insights to areas for cost control.
- Collaborate with other function to collect information and develop understanding for reporting.
Business Partnering:
- Work closely with department heads to understand their OPEX requirements and provide financial guidance.
- Assist in the preparation of cases for new initiatives and projects.
- Provide financial support for contract negotiations and vendor management.
Ensure compliance with internal policies and external regulations
How You Get Here:
- Advanced knowledge of excel
- Proven financial abilities, including familiarity with concepts of forecasting, budgeting, and variance analysis, as well as root cause data interpretation
- Strong interpersonal skills to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams
- Organized and capable at prioritizing workload to deliver on time while achieving results in a fast-paced environment
- Comfortable with large and complex data and with communicating findings to senior management
Minimum Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Business, Accounting or related field
- 3 years of work experience in Finance, Accounting or related field, with a solid understanding of financial reporting and analysis
- Proficiency in financial modeling and analysis tools (e.g., Excel, financial software)
- Attention to detail and high level of accuracy
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team

Compensation and Benefits
The salary range estimated for this position based in California is $83,300.00–$130,000.00.
