As a Financial Analysis Manager supporting the Technology and Products Group at Micron Technology, Inc., you are integral member of a team that helps determine and execute to nearly a $4 billion annual R&D budget. Through effective business partnering with R&D leadership, collaboration with peers and financial analysis, you will provide decision support that helps ensure strong investment decisions that helps the Company maintain its technology leadership.
You will be a business partner supporting the DRAM Technology and Products Group (DTGP) senior leadership team. In addition to business partnering responsibilities, you will support business case analysis for all products within the DRAM portfolio. You will develop strategic partnerships with senior engineering leadership and other key stakeholders by supporting strategic analysis, providing valued insights, and supporting decisions that optimize deployment of Capex, Opex, and return on investments. You will be responsible for maintaining an engaging, proactive, and customer-focused relationship with your internal customers.
Responsibilities include, but not limited to:
Provide Finance Business Partner Support
  • Drive annual business planning and present recommendations to R&D leadership
  • Drive execution to plan and effectively assess potential variants that could lead to deviations
  • Drive improved cost structure and return on investments though KPI's and analysis of data trends
  • Identify opportunities and implement solutions to improve productivity and mitigate inaccuracies
  • Champion the use of AI tools that enable automated data pipelines, predictive modeling, and GenAI-enabled insights for executives
  • Provide ad hoc analysis, reporting and insights that drive effective decision support to R&D business partners, Finance leadership and other customers
  • Ensure project cost models are completed efficiently and accurately to maximize opportunities to evaluate trends and insights.
  • Own the strategy and evolution of dashboards that provide strategic insights and drives productivity for other TPG Finance team members
  • Facilitate cross-functional discussion and presentations to Engineering leadership, Finance leadership and peers
  • Review month end journal entries, SOX controls, budget inputs

Qualifications:
  • Minimum 5-7 year financial analysis and business partnering experience
  • Advanced financial analysis and modeling experience
  • Experience supporting R&D of technology organizations
  • Strong interpersonal & communication skills and ability to influence
  • Ability to synthesize financial + highly technical content for senior audiences
  • Ability to work independently and cross-functionally
  • Excels at identifying and improving process gaps that can lead to inefficiencies and inaccuracies
  • Intellectually curious; seeks to continuously improve skills and understanding of the business
  • Proven strength in each of Micron core values; People, Innovation, Tenacity, Collaboration and Customer Focus
  • Experience working with SAP, Power BI, Microsoft Office Suite

Education:
  • BA/BS or equivalent in business, finance, accounting, economics, or related field of study
  • MBA or other advanced degrees preferred
