The Digital Solutions Director will lead technology-enabled financial close transformation projects—overseeing implementations, advising executives on process optimization, driving practice growth and innovation, and mentoring teams to deliver exceptional client outcomes. 

Who You Are

  • Bachelor's and/or Master’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field, with CPA Certification highly preferred.

  • Blackline or FloQast implementation certifications highly preferred

  • 10+ years of experience in financial close and consolidations, including multi-entity and international experience, with a proven track record of leadership and project management in these areas, including a mix of public accounting, consulting, or industry accounting experience.

  • Experience managing financial close technology implementations and optimizations, ideally in a consulting role and in partnership with the technology vendor.

  • Demonstrated ability to manage and lead complex engagements, providing strategic oversight and ensuring excellence in delivery.

  • Extensive experience in mentoring and developing teams, with a strong commitment to nurturing talent and fostering a collaborative work environment.

  • In-depth knowledge of financial close processes and best practices, crafting customized solutions for our clients that meet all client objectives and controls requirements.

  • Skilled in navigating and managing client relationships, building trust, and establishing credibility as a strategic advisor.

  • A visionary leader with a passion for driving the growth and development of the Digital Solutions practice, contributing to thought leadership, and enhancing methodologies and service offerings.

What You'll Do

  • Lead and oversee the delivery of implementation services for close management and automation tools, such as FloQast and Blackline, ensuring alignment with client objectives and controls requirements.

  • Develop and execute strategic engagement plans, directing the assessment of current financial close technology landscape, and advising on best practices for streamlining and automating the close process.

  • Serve as the primary liaison with clients at the executive level, fostering strong relationships and ensuring clear communication and alignment on project goals and deliverables.

  • Drive the growth and development of the Digital Services practice, identifying opportunities for expansion, and enhancing our methodologies and service offerings to maintain and enhance our market leadership.

  • Mentor and develop the advisory team, encouraging professional growth, technical excellence, and a culture of continuous learning and improvement.

  • Lead by example, setting high standards for integrity, professionalism, and client service, and fostering an environment that encourages innovation, collaboration, and excellence in every aspect of our practice.
