Job Title: Financial Advisor (CFA or CFP)

Job Type: Contractor - US ONLY

Location: Remote

We are seeking experienced Financial Advisors (CFA or CFP) to contribute their expertise to the development of next-generation AI-powered financial planning solutions. In this role, you will apply your real-world advisory experience to help train and evaluate advanced AI systems that support personal financial planning and decision-making.

Your expertise will help improve how AI models reason through everyday financial scenarios, communicate recommendations clearly, and provide practical, client-focused guidance for individuals and families. No prior AI experience is required—your financial planning expertise is what matters most.


RequirementsKey Responsibilities
  • Evaluate and review realistic financial planning scenarios involving budgeting, emergency savings, debt management, retirement planning, investment decisions, and long-term financial goals.
  • Assess AI-generated financial recommendations for accuracy, suitability, regulatory compliance, clarity, and practical value for W-2 earners and middle-income households.
  • Document real-world financial planning conversations, including goal prioritization, trade-off discussions, and client decision-making processes.
  • Define common planning methodologies, decision frameworks, and industry best practices, including emergency fund targets, debt repayment strategies, retirement savings benchmarks, and cash flow management.
  • Provide clear, structured written feedback to improve AI-generated financial explanations, recommendations, and client communication.
  • Identify potential compliance, fiduciary, and risk management concerns while recommending appropriate referrals to tax, legal, insurance, or other specialized professionals when needed.
  • Contribute subject matter expertise to improve AI workflows and financial planning processes aligned with industry standards.
Required Qualifications
  • Minimum 3 years of client-facing experience providing comprehensive financial planning and advisory services to individuals and families.
  • Experience working as a Financial Advisor, Wealth Advisor, Personal Financial Consultant, or in a similar advisory role.
  • Strong expertise in:
    • Budgeting and cash flow planning
    • Emergency fund planning
    • Debt management strategies
    • Retirement planning
    • Investment planning
    • College savings strategies
    • Basic insurance and risk management analysis
  • CFP® certification strongly preferred, or CFP exam completion with substantial financial planning experience. Candidates holding CFA, ChFC, or comparable financial planning credentials with strong client advisory experience are also encouraged to apply.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills with the ability to simplify complex financial concepts for non-technical audiences.
  • Strong understanding of fiduciary responsibilities, regulatory compliance, and ethical financial planning practices.
  • Experience mentoring advisors, improving planning workflows, or developing standardized advisory processes.
  • Ability to work independently in a remote, asynchronous environment.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience providing ongoing financial coaching or workplace financial wellness advisory services.
  • Background designing or optimizing standardized financial planning processes or digital advisory experiences.
  • Familiarity with personal finance applications, digital wealth management platforms, or AI-assisted financial planning tools.
  • Strong interest in applying financial expertise to emerging AI technologies and advisory innovation.
