As the Vice President of Payments, you will play a critical role in developing the infrastructure and defining the strategic direction of the Payments team.

In this role, you will focus on building processes to ensure we scale Payments efficiently, while improving the buyer and seller experience. As a top Payments leader, you will partner closely with other cross-functional leaders to drive our mission to expand our Payment offerings, while contributing to GOAT Group’s long term success.

In this role you will

  • Develop and scale GOAT Group’s global payments platform, developing the strategy for the payments roadmap to support aggressive growth.
  • Manage relationships with all payment providers and partnerships, ensuring that we are being served with the best quality service and necessary resources to achieve operational excellence and pricing.
  • Manage end-to-end performance of our payments business including all key business drivers/metrics.
  • Design payment solutions supporting large cross-functional financing initiatives that impact many systems on the marketplace. 
  • Assist Leadership in driving global alignment and developing strategy to design global end-to-end payment processes. Including, leading and shaping payment solutions within global markets by understanding their payment technologies and providing recommendations on optimized solutions.
  • Experience with on-boarding financial tools (e.g. lending products) to buyers and sellers of marketplace platforms.

You have

  • 10+ years of experience working in Payments, within e-commerce, digital marketplaces or financial services industries. 
  • Experience defining strategic vision and tactical execution to build large scale payments platforms.
  • Platform product management experience, building products that can be leveraged by a variety of business customers.
  • Extensive knowledge of payments processing industry including authorization, settlement, funding, chargebacks, interchange, card association rules/regulations, EMV, tokenization, encryption, PCI DSS, digital e-commerce payments, fraud, and current industry trends/challenges.
  • Experience with global payment programs and global teams.
  • Excellent judgement in making business decisions and possesses exceptional critical thinking skills, with the ability to use data in order to quickly prioritize activities and projects that are aligned to the overall business strategy.
  • A collaborative partner who can bring together people of various backgrounds, skill sets, and areas of expertise to drive decisions and output.
  • Proven written and verbal communication skills, and comfortable sharing information formally or informally with senior leadership.
