• Contribute to the strategic planning and positioning of payments within all Newegg divisions influencing the company’s strategic direction;
• Continuously seek to acquire current and future state information from membership and engagement in payments communities (e.g., networks, processors and federal agencies) to understand trends and developing technology through educational and networking activities as means of informing recommended strategies
• Assume overall strategic and operational responsibility for major payment channels
• Anticipate emerging risks and mitigate existing risks relative to payment channel operations, prioritize and resolve issues identified to increase reliability and sustain effective and efficient payment operations;
• Collaborate consistently with internal stakeholders including Operations, eCommerce, Fraud Prevention, IT, Finance, Accounting, Internal Control, Legal and others to proactively drive performance and manage risk;
• Drive the ongoing optimization of servicing processes by leveraging automation and upskilling talent; promote higher levels of efficiency and improved member experiences while adhering to regulatory requirements and company’s policies;
• Develop and execute strategic and financial business plans that supports the company’s growth, client and employee experience and profitability strategies;
• Delivery of client-facing research projects focusing on FinTech topics such as payments, lending and crowdfunding, digital wealth management and others.
• You think deeply on complex issues and propose new ideas that can add to the discussion on risk in global financial markets
• Research technology and fintech related developments in financial markets
• Prepare papers, reports, and detailed articles and present on financial markets and payments system issues for various audiences
• Works with cross-functional teams on process improvement projects and general updates.
• Hires develops and retains talent.
• Manages P&L.
