WHO WE ARE LOOKING FOR:

The Trade Desk is seeking an experienced, capable and dedicated Stock Administration Manager to report to the Sr. Director, SEC Reporting, Equity Admin & Technical Accounting. This role will be responsible for hands-on, end-to-end administration of the Company’s equity plans, including but not limited to equity grants, option exercises, and withholding tax calculations as well as special projects for our Global Equity Plans. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of successfully leading daily activities as well as annual events, managing international compliance, and managing day-to-day stakeholder, partner and vendor relationships.

WHAT YOU WILL BE DOING:

  • Manage day-to-day equity administration, accounting tasks and projects, including ESPP
  • Work closely with the external equity administrator, transfer agent and brokers to execute tasks
  • Help ensure the proper taxation is applied to all equity exercises and releases
  • Manage the preparation of all relevant equity transactions, such as exercises, releases and intercompany activities
  • Partner with Payroll, HR and Legal, as needed, to ensure proper equity related reporting
  • Manage Section 16 compliance
  • Manage the reporting, reviewing and tracking of 10b5-1 trading plans
  • Prepare proxy disclosures and equity related disclosures for SEC filings
  • Maintain share pool balances
  • Manage companywide equity communications and educational materials
  • Manage and respond to equity related inquiries
  • Help ensure compliance with SOX 404 requirements for the equity process
  • Play a key role in general process improvements and process documentation for all facets related to equity
  • Assist with mobility and international reporting compliance from an equity perspective
  • Manage preparation of ad hoc analyses and other projects, as needed

WHAT YOU BRING TO THE TABLE:

  • Bachelor’s degree, with an emphasis in Finance or Accounting
  • 8+ years of stock administration or relevant experience
  • CEP designation preferred, or in process
  • Understanding and experience in equity software programs
  • Strong Excel skills (Pivot Tables, VLookUp’s, etc.)
  • Outstanding analytical, communication, and organizational skills
  • Excellent business judgment, strategic thinking and ability to manage multiple priorities
  • Detail-oriented with a high degree of accuracy, business-friendly team player with an ability to accommodate tight deadlines in a fast-paced environment
  • Experience with U.S. federal and state taxation relating to equity compensation and general knowledge of global taxation of equity compensation
