Overview:

Responsibilities:

• Process accounts payable invoices and expense reimbursements
• Obtain and review all invoice approvals prior to processing payments
• Process customer payments by recording cash, checks, and credit card transactions
• Prepare and perform general ledger account reconciliations
• Respond to vendor and internal inquiries
• Record and maintain all W-9 files for vendors and spearhead the annual 1099 process
• Assist in month-end and year-end closing process and annual external audit
• Support continuous process improvements and automation efforts for accounting and finance
• Assist with the formal documentation of policies, procedures, and controls over the accounts payable, expense management and cash disbursement processes
• Produce error free accounting reports

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting or related field
• 1-3 years of proven experience in accounts payable and general ledger accounting
• Excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with efficiency and accuracy
• Ability to think critically, as well as, organize and analyze information to resolve problems in a timely manner
• Ability to establish priorities and collaborate with team members to meet deadlines
• Must be self-motivated and have the ability to be a pro-active problem solver
