Ring is looking for a skilled Senior Tax Accountant to join our rapidly growing team. We are seeking driven individuals who thrive in a fast-paced environment and can manage multiple priorities – a self-starter who can work independently but who is also a good team-player. This role will receive direction from the corporate accounting manager and the Head of Tax at Ring but will need to be able to pick things up quickly and to meet deadlines with multiple tasks. This position will be responsible for supporting the preparation and filing of VAT/GST returns in various jurisdictions globally as well as fielding tax provision requests, supporting controllership and assisting with indirect tax audit defense.

Responsibilities

• Compile account information and prepare monthly journal entries
• Ensure proper review of month-end indirect tax account reconciliations
• Assist with compiling year-end tax provision requests
• Manage indirect tax registrations across various jurisdictions
• Drive documentation and improvement of indirect tax processes
• Assist the Head of Tax with overall tax strategy
• Research important tax issues and suggest the best practices and applications in accordance with State, Federal and International Tax rulings.
• Work with various departments to streamline data flow and processes

Basic Qualifications

• B.S. Degree in Accounting, Tax or Related Field
• 4+ years of experience as a tax accountant
• 4+ years of experience with MS-Excel (v-lookup, pivot table, sumif, sort, filter, etc.)

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with systems implementation is a plus
• Dedicated and resourceful
• Able to work independently
