The job involves the following responsibilities:

• Ownership of our month end close process o Revenue analysis and related entries
o Intercompany entries to brother/sister companies
o Ad-hoc entries

• Account reconciliations

• Monthly Financial Statement Preparation
o Variance analysis to Plan and Prior Year
o Cash flow analysis

• KPI analysis
o Cash Pacing
o Other metrics as assigned

• Budgeting & Forecasting
o Variance analysis by Cost Center/GL to Plan

• Oversight over company expenses for timeliness and accuracy in GL entry
o ePays (Checks and ACH)
o Concur (Credit Cards)

• Contract administration

• Management of one direct report

• Ad hoc administrative duties

• Projects as assigned
 

Basic Qualifications:

• 3+ years of Accounting/Finance experience, preferably in e-Commerce or subscription based businesses
• Bachelor’s degree
• Advanced Excel skills (i.e. Cubes, macros, pivot tables, sumifs, vlookup, countifs)

Preferred Qualifications:

• Mix of public and private preferred
• SAP experience a plus
• Essbase experience a plus
• Experience as a Senior Financial Analyst with strong accounting background
• Experience owning the GL, capable of technical research and composing statements from a trial balance
• Experience rolling up variety of profit centers and cost centers for budget to actual comparisons by center
