ROLE SUMMARY
We are looking for a Senior Manager, Strategic Finance to own the company’s financial model and help to build and drive financial insight, rigor and efficiency on our growing FP&A team. This individual is a team player who will work across the organization and interact with members of the finance and accounting team as well as senior business and operational leaders within the company.
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Own the company’s financial model; work with business leaders and FP&A team to maintain accuracy and implement scalable, automated processes to keep it up to date for budgeting, forecasting and long-range planning
- Align and work with cross-functional leadership on business KPIs and metrics that track progress vs. goals, and provide insights into drivers of success and/or areas of improvement
- Develop new reports to meet the changing requirements of the business and the needs of company stakeholders
- Develop and deliver executive and Board-level presentations
- Strategic finance support in relation to fundraising, M&A & partnership efforts
QUALIFICATIONS
- 5+ years of experience, preferably in Investment Banking, sell side research, or FP&A at a publicly-traded company. Insurtech experience is a plus.
- Exceptional financial modeling skills using Excel and/or Google Sheets, with the ability to analyze large amounts of data
- Deep experience building, owning and maintaining complex 3-statement financial models, company budgets, and forecasts
- Understanding of subscription model business metrics & unit economics drivers such as ACV, TCV, renewal rates, churn, ARR, net retention, & ARPU
- Strong business and analytical acumen in order to influence and drive effective decision making
- Strong relationship building, collaboration, communication, and presentation skills
- Ability to work collaboratively and cross-functionally in a fast-paced, often changing environment
