Role Overview
InStride is looking for a Sr. Manager, FP&A to join a dedicated finance team that can scale with our emerging, high growth company. This role will be focused on managing FP&A activities including leading the reporting, forecasting, and financial planning processes across the organization, and serving as a valued and trusted advisor to senior leadership. The candidate must have prior FP&A experience in a high-growth software/technology company. This position will report to the Director of FP&A
Responsibilities
- Lead our consolidated P&L reporting and forecasting processes (monthly, quarterly, annually, and the long-range plan) with high degree of accuracy and transparency
- Own revenue forecasting and related analyses, providing greater visibility into emerging trends
- Build and enhance robust financial models through a strategic lens as well as collaborate cross-functionally with business partners to highlight trends and assess business risks and opportunities
- Provide regular financial reports and analysis to senior management, including variance analysis and key performance indicators
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and drive cost savings and operational efficiencies
- Act as a business partner to department heads, providing financial analysis and guidance to support strategic decision-making
- Identify and mitigate financial risks, and provide recommendations for improvement
Ideal Profile
- 7+ years of finance experience, preferably in a high-growth technology company, investment banking, or consulting firm
- Prior experience working for a private-equity backed company preferred
- Bachelor's degree in accounting, finance, economics or a similar subject area
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to collect, manipulate, analyze and disseminate significant amounts of information with attention to detail and accuracy.
- Strong communication skills, including the ability to communicate effectively with individuals at all levels of InStride and client organizations
- Strong understanding of US GAAP and financial concepts.
- Experience working with ERP systems and financial reporting tools (NetSuite, Tableau, Salesforce)

Our base compensation amount for this role is targeted at $121,000 - $181,000/yr. Final offer amounts are determined by multiple factors including candidate experience and expertise and may vary from the amounts listed above.
