Senior Manager, Finance & Corp Dev

Finance plays a pivotal role managing the company’s financial performance and shaping its strategic priorities. The team is responsible for facilitating the coordination, consolidation, reporting and analysis of the overall forecast process; Board of Director reporting, pricing, and valuation of deals across the company, and long-term planning / strategic initiatives.  Finance works collaboratively with various business units to understand strategies, dissect trends in the business, and translate those into a financial model. Our work provides the business with critical financial insights which directly impact our future direction.

The Sr. Manager of Finance and Corp Dev will be responsible for leading both company revenue planning and analysis, as well as financial modeling efforts supporting strategic planning, internal investment councils, and M&A activities

Responsibilities:

• Act as the leader within finance, leading the company’s forecasting process
• Build financial and operational models for high-priority internal initiatives
• Support financial modeling efforts around M&A activity
• Develop new analyses, processes, and metrics to support strategic growth initiatives
• Know the numbers behind the business inside and out; serve as the subject matter expert for all internal stakeholders, providing financial analysis and strategic insights to Boingo’s business lines
• Work collaboratively on data needs with cross-functional groups, including Accounting, Data Analytics, Marketing, Operations and Engineering
• Continuously adapt and evolve our financial processes to better support the company as we scale

Requirements:

• 5+ years of progressively responsible experience in finance, data analytics or strategy with a track record of success.
• Previous experience in investment banking, private equity, corporate development, FP&A, management consulting, or a strategic field strongly preferred
• Extensive experience in building and adapting financial models
• Senior presence with thoughtful, articulate communication style
• Strong analytical and critical thinking skills
• Strong project management skills and the ability to juggle multiple priorities
• MBA or CPA strongly preferred
• Bachelor's degree
