We’re looking for an experienced, hands-on Financial Planning & Analysis leader to build out and lead all areas of FP&A including developing financial plans, budgeting, forecasting, long-range financial model, and financial analysis to support executive decision-making. A successful candidate will be able to provide deep data-driven insights, collaborate cross-functionally, and be a key contributor to Aspiration’s financial strategy and management. This role reports to the CFO and will have significant exposure to the entire leadership team. 

What You'll Do

• Build and lead a high-performance FP&A team 
• Build and own company’s 3-statement financial model and run revenue, profitability, and capital structure scenarios
• Develop and manage annual budgeting, resource allocation/business cases, monthly/quarterly forecasting, variance analysis, and management performance reporting 
• Advance the analysis and understanding of KPIs and unit economics to drive further P&L alignment and accountability 
• Partner closely with Data, Product, and Marketing teams on ROI models to guide spending decisions
• Partner closely with the People team on headcount planning and compensation analysis
• Evolve financial management processes, controls, systems and tools to scale the business
• Provide support on investor relations, capital raising, treasury, tax, procurement and other ad-hoc strategic and financial activities

What You'll Bring

• 10+ years of experience in finance, including 5+ years in FP&A with responsibility for the quarterly and annual budget and financial planning processes
• Must have consumer financial services experience; high growth startup experience a plus 
• Investment Banking or VC/PE background, or ability to build 3-statement financial models with scenarios
• Experience evolving processes, controls and systems, including ERP implementation
• Experience building and managing teams
• Excellent verbal and PPT communication skills; ability to synthesize and explain complex data to finance and non-finance audiences
• Highly motivated, proactive, and collaborative with a strong degree of integrity
