We are looking for a Senior Accountant to join our growing Finance team and to own the full monthly close cycle and manage all bookkeeping for the company. You will work with a team of two AR/AP specialists and will report directly to the Head of Finance and work closely with the executive team including the CEO. This is a high visibility role in an exciting industry with ample opportunity for career growth. 

What you'll do:

• Serve as the accounting lead and own the monthly close process, ensuring timely and accurate reports and financial statements on a monthly, quarterly and annual basis
• Work closely with the CEO, Head of Finance, and Product team to help define the product roadmap for all things finance and accounting
• Be a thought leader and subject matter expert on current accounting best practices; identify and implement process improvements and features
• Act as the liaison between the Finance/Accounting team and external stakeholders, including customers, vendors, and tax agencies
• Oversee all AP/AR duties including billing, payment application, and collections
• Assist with processing vendor credits, refunds, and invoice adjustments
• Prepare and review ledger reconciliations, monthly accruals, and journal entries
• Support year-end tax preparation and audits
• Ad hoc finance and accounting projects

Who we're looking for:

• 4+ years experience in technology/software and/or public accounting
• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or Business
• Outstanding attention to detail with an ability to remain focused on the big picture
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills and high emotional intelligence (EQ)
• Strong project management skills and ability to effectively prioritize work in a high-growth environment
• Positive attitude and willingness to learn and mentor others
• Ability to conduct complex analyses, develop actionable insights, and collaborate with internal business partners to lead, manage, and execute projects
• A strategic & critical thinker who enjoys wearing multiple hats and improving the status quo
• Robust understanding of US GAAP and accounting principles
• Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Quickbooks, and Google Sheets
