As Bird’s Payroll Analyst, you’ll be a key member of the People Services team and will own the payroll processing function for our growing company. You will own payroll processing guidelines, timelines and serve as business partner for any new projects or payroll initiatives.
What You'll Do:
- Timeliness and accuracy of bi-weekly payroll processing and ad hoc payments, government and state filings
- Serve as point of contact for management and employee questions/understanding of payroll procedures
- Proactively applying knowledge of compliance laws, labor regulations, payroll best practices, federal and state taxation, etc. to remain compliant and stay up-to-date on industry trends and changes
- Manage payroll vendor relationship
- Partner with Accounting for payroll reconciliation and to resolve any discrepancies during month-end close
- Ensure accuracy of account posting rules for all on/off-cycle payments
What You'll Need:
- BA/BS
- 4+ years of international payroll experience at a high-growth company
- Experience and knowledge of various payroll taxes such as federal and state taxes, supplemental wage taxation
- Global Payroll experience a plus
- Highly experienced in Excel and proven experience auditing and reconciling data between various data sources
- Experience with ADP and Workday a plus
