The US Safety team at TikTok helps ensure that our community is safe and empowered to create and enjoy content across all of our apps while protecting our brand. About the Team: TikTok is seeking an Operational Risk Manager to join the US Safety Ops - Risk Management team. The Risk Management team's mission is to improve Governance, Risk Management, and System of Internal Control and to protect and enable growth with objective, practical insights. We do this by monitoring the risk environment across TikTok and providing insights to enable effective risk management. We work closely with stakeholders and leadership to achieve a strong control environment that enhances and protects organizational value. We act as trusted advisors, providing assurance, insight and objectivity. We are also facilitators of change, partnering with leadership to improve deficiencies. We serve as one of the company’s various lines of defense to identify areas of risk and make valuable recommendations on controls delivering objective and reliable results. As a member of the team, you’ll advise the internal stakeholders to identify areas of risk and make valuable recommendations on controls. You’ll have the opportunity to influence change and decisions for business initiatives including product launches and project implementations. We are looking for a candidate who is highly effective in a rapidly changing environment and demonstrates technical and project management skills. This position will be full-time and based in Los Angeles, CA. Responsibilities: - Design and execute US Safety Ops' operational process reviews and review of system implementations, applications and other IT-related risk areas. Diagnose IT business risks and operational improvement opportunities for US Safety Ops. - Manage and oversee review of system access controls and critical queue settings for US Safety Ops. - Coordinate and prepare responses to the enterprise-wide internal audit engagements and manage oversight of audit remediation activities. - Lead ad-hoc analysis of operational and IT data to analyze control deficiencies, assess risk, review internal controls, develop improvement opportunities and/or corrective actions, and support implementation of remediation solutions. - Advocate for and implement continuous improvement in our audit framework, process and internal controls. - Engage with cross-functional stakeholders, internal & external auditors, as well as US Safety leadership on audit initiatives and results. - Participate in ongoing monitoring activities and risk assessment process to provide updates and inform the audit plan.

Qualifications

- 4 - 5 years of experience in IT/Operational audit in a technology sector, public company, Big 4 consulting or a combination thereof. - Bachelor's degree in Business, Finance, Accounting or related field. - Advanced understanding of operational risk management concepts and techniques, including development of process flows, identification and assessment of risks and controls, testing and monitoring. - Strong knowledge of IT practices, including applications and infrastructure, security and vulnerability assessments, change control, asset management, business continuity, data privacy, and IT risk assessment. - Demonstrates a strong sense of curiosity and willingness to get a deep understanding of the business, processes, technologies, and risks to provide value and insights. - Strong project management and organizational skills, with the capability to work on multiple projects with minimal direction. - Experience driving operational efficiencies by redesigning processes and implementing technical solutions - SQL fluency highly preferred - Industry recognized certification such as Certified Information Systems Auditor (CISA) or CIS Security Professional (CISSP) preferred. Other certifications such as Global Information Assurance Certification (GIAC) or Certified Internal Auditor (CIA) are a plus.
