As our primary financial analyst you will be laying the foundations for ongoing and regular financial reporting and analysis. With constant evolution in the company’s operations, you will support management in maintaining a healthy financial position for the company as we pursue prudent growth opportunities in both e-commerce and retail, in the US and around the world. Core Responsibilities:

- Review revenue and expense accrual on a monthly / quarterly / annual basis against projections and budgets, providing full analysis for the CEO and executive team 
- Own the monthly reconciliation process for revenue and expenses, reviewing journal entries and working with our accountants to deliver timely and accurate financial reporting 
- Support ad-hoc analyses to help management assess the profitability of company initiatives and project the downstream effects of operational decisions 
- Assist in maintenance of the company’s financial projections, accurately modeling the company’s operations at a granular level 
- Draw upon disparate data sources from across the organization for analysis, ranging from e-commerce and retail sales performance data to international operations and fulfillment data 
- Maintain and streamline processes for Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivable

Qualifications:

- 2+ years working in Finance, Consulting or Accounting 
- Bachelor’s Degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics or equivalent field 
- Expert in Microsoft Excel and financial modeling, experience with SQL and - Python or other scripting languages 
- Experience working in a startup environment or similarly fast-paced role 
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, and strong data fluency 
- You are resourceful and comfortable taking things and running with them, learning and developing new frameworks with a flexible mind
