As Head of Finance - Controller, you’ll manage the day-to-day accounting and drive processes of the Accounting Team.

You will:

• Lead, develop, and provide guidance to our Accounting Team
• Manage the monthly accounting close utilizing automation and process efficiency to shorten and improve the close cycle
• Review and post all entities' journal entries
• Provide weekly cash flow projections and manage cash balances
• Prepare monthly financial statements with comparisons to and variance analysis against prior year and budget, while ensuring all monthly balance sheet reconciliations are completed
• Manage the general ledger including updates, system access, chart of accounts, and period closes
• Oversee our Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivable function, while monitoring weekly aging reports
• Run the company's option and bonus incentive programs and reporting process
• Coordinate and serve as the primary contact with SteelHouse’s external auditors, ensuring that accounting transactions are complete and accurate prior to external audits
• Administer the Company’s payroll processes and systems, including coordination with our external provider
• Act as the lead on Board administrative matters (e.g., consents)
• Assist in analyzing and reviewing transactions for proper GAAP treatment

You have:

• BA in accounting; MBA and/or CPA preferred
• 5-10 years' experience in a professional services (Big 4) environment
• Expert Excel skills including data analysis (pivot tables, macros, etc.)
• Principal knowledge of GAAP
• Familiarity working in a small organization and multi-tasking
• Excellent communication skills and are able to learn quickly
• The abililty to draw on sound business judgment and flawless integrity
• A strong work ethic, team player mentality, and a creative mindset
• International experience
