The Global Controller, based in Santa Monica, reports to the EVP Finance and will help oversee financial and global accounting functions across Seriously as part of Playtika. This person will manage day-to-day operations of the US controllership function while taking ownership of global consolidated accounting, reporting, audit and tax and the continual development of internal control policies and procedures. 

Responsibilities

• Lead global controllership function partnering with the global finance team and operating teams to ensure controls are implemented and compliance with US GAAP as well as local regulatory and statutory requirements
• Lead the preparation of consolidated financial statements with overall responsibility for the monthly and quarterly close processes and subsequent financial reporting
• Oversee all accounting operations, including, A/R, A/P, GL, cost accounting transfer pricing and revenue recognition; directly responsible for US and global consolidated accounting
• Function as owner of internal and external audit relationships and ensure local statutory requirements are met
• Work closely with financial planing and analysis function and support the coordination of forecast and budget inputs from all teams and operating units
• Manage daily cash as well as banking transactions and relationships
• Develop new financial and operational reporting to analyze goals and metrics
• Optimize systems and processes to meet company’s goals and objectives

Qualifications

• Minimum 10 years of professional experience in accounting, finance, or related field
• Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting, Finance or related field such as economics
• CPA or equivalent strongly preferred
• Prior experience in global consolidation with expertise is US GAAP and demonstrated background and knowledge of other international accounting standards
• Internal controls and accounting process and ERP systems experience
• Strong leadership skills and ability and desire to work across multiple departments
• Interest in the gaming, media and entertainment industry
