Role: SnackNation is looking for a highly motivated, ambitious, energetic, and relationship-focused Financial Analyst. The right person will be creative, deadline and goal-focused, highly organized and articulate. This role is all about business planning and providing analytical and strategic support to all lines of business and teams. The Financial Analyst, FP&A will report to the VP of Finance and will work closely with internal teams to analyze and measure company financial performance.
Responsibilities:
Compile and review financial results, operational and strategic plans
Create, maintain and improve profitability and management reporting
Assist in the financial forecasting / planning / budgeting process
Create and update materials for board meetings and investor presentations
Provide ad hoc analyses and decision support to all finance and corporate strategy projects
Analyze market and competitor trends and various industry projects
Partner with internal finance and accounting team to drive deliverables and improve processes
Partner with corporate leaders on department budget management and savings initiatives
Requirements:
EDUCATION: BA/BS degree required, with a major in Finance or other technical concentration
EXPERIENCE 2+ years of experience, with a clear track record of relevant experience in Corporate Development
Bachelor’s degree required, with a major in Finance or other technical concentration
Previous experience in Ecommerce and subscription service industry preferred
Firm understanding of Corporate Finance
Exceptional analytical abilities and strong Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint skills
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Detail-oriented and strong organizational skills, with a high level of curiosity and self-motivation
Must possess a strong work ethic with a high sense of urgency
Ability to multi-task and manage competing deadlines
