How we LEAD:

This position will be responsible for executing and supporting various planning and analysis tasks for the finance marketing side of the Capitol Music Group finance department. This role will be exposed to all departments across the company. Responsibilities include support in managing quarterly marketing budgeting process, assist with monthly close, perform project and ad-hoc analysis when necessary

How you'll CREATE:

  • Provide day-to-day finance support to the CMG marketing teams
  • Support Finance Manager during the quarterly budgeting process
  • Work with the Central Accounting team and marketing team on elements of the monthly financial close
  • Analyze variances to budget and forecast for marketing expense
  • Assist in preparing quarterly forecasts and annual budget
  • Enhance and modify models and databases as needed
  • Facilitate intercompany and external vendor invoicing and payments
  • Provide ad-hoc analyses when needed

Bring your VIBE:

  • Degree qualified (specific to business, finance or accounting) or equivalent experience
  • Minimum 1-2 years of experience in a finance assistant or analyst level position
  • Detail-oriented with strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Demonstrable proficiency in the use of spreadsheet, accounting and financial applications software; SAP experience/knowledge preferred
  • Proficiency with MS Office products, especially Excel and Powerpoint
  • Ability to effectively communicate and coordinate with internal and external teams in a professional manner
  • Great organizational and time management skills with the ability to prioritize based on an evolving workload
  • Strong interpersonal and teamwork skills, including adaptability, personal effectiveness, and the ability to establish quick rapport with people across the business
  • Ability to handle confidential information and interact with high-level executives
  • Must be a self-starter with the ability to prioritize and effectively follow through under pressure and/or tight deadlines
