Responsibilities

Fandango seeks a talented, and passionate Manager for the Finance department to make an immediate impact.    The ideal candidate will have a finance, corporate development, or consulting background and has the ability to synthesize and communicate data into insights, and juggle multiple assignments in a quick and constantly changing environment.  This person will be extremely detail oriented, drive efficiencies, work in a high growth international company, and have the ability to develop executive level analysis and reporting.  This position will report directly to the Director of Financial Planning & Analysis and will work closely with the senior team. 

  • Manage FP&A and Consolidation process for the business across all domestic and international properties for Budgeting, Forecasting, and Reporting
  • Partner with Universal Film Finance in the submission and consolidation of financials
  • Assist in creation of executive and board level presentations to the Fandango leadership team, Universal Film Finance, and Warner Brothers Digital Finance
  • Lead global finance innovation and standardization efforts across Fandango and support Universal Film Finance in company-wide finance initiatives
  • Develop and utilize data-driven analytics to generate value-added insights and actionable recommendations to drive financial performance and business opportunities
  • Identify areas of financial risk and opportunity
  • Maintain and improve planning database
  • Provide various ad-hoc analyses including variance analysis, sensitivities, and other requests from senior management
  • Bring a collaborative, hands-on approach to the work, and develop open communication and productive work relationships with senior leadership, operations leads, and the broader finance team

 

Qualifications/Requirements

• 5-7+ years of progressive finance experience with experience in the consolidation process, creation of financial valuation models (e.g. discounted cash flow), and preparation of executive presentations
• BA required, MBA preferred
• Strong math, financial and analytical skills including ability to create complex financial models and efficiently communicate results
• Experience with Hyperion Essbase and SAP 
• Exposure to a complex environment with multiple entities is preferred
• Strong writing and analytical skills, high level attention to detail
• Ability to effectively communicate with all levels of the organization
