  • Perform and distribute monthly, detailed budget vs. actual variance reports to each functional leader within the organization and help influence corrective action on under-performing investments and budget risks / over-runs
  • Own the development of the financial forecast model and partner with others across the organization to ensure that the modeling assumptions are reasonable and current
  • Provide analytical / decision support (return on investment, NPV, benchmarking, etc.) on key company decisions (partnerships, key customer contracts, M&A activities, etc.)
  • Build and maintain strong, cross-functional relationships with senior leadership across the business and be the go-to person / team for analytical support for each functional team
  • Approve department spending requests to ensure purchases are within approved budget limits
  • Identify trends and offer solutions to mitigate negative trends and (or) accelerate positive ones
  • Research, select, implement, and refine processes and systems to optimize the efficiency and performance of the FP&A team
  • Develop a deep understanding of the company’s markets, customers, and products in order to provide more relevant financial and analytical support to the organization
  • Perform ad hoc research, analysis, and reporting as required

  • An innate curiosity to thoroughly analyze issues and to come forward with clear and simple recommendations for moving forward
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Proven ability working in a fast-paced, constantly evolving environment
  • Consistent track record identifying and pursuing problems regardless of the nature of the issue or the work required to get the job done
