What You'll Do:

• Design & execute accounting controls & procedures in a global hypergrowth startup environment
• Provide strong financial/business analysis, variance analysis and management reporting to support strong business decision-making
• Prepare adjusted GAAP financial statements and work with FP&A on management presentations
• Analyze balance sheet, income statement and budget variances and report significant issues to management
• Calculate and issue financial and operating metrics
• Participate in and support financial, collateral and tax audits as necessary
• Ensure Bird’s compliance with applicable regulatory frameworks and design company financial policies to support external financial reporting requirements

What You'll Need:

• Bachelor's degree and CPA or CMA required; MBA in Finance preferred
• 15+ years of experience in Finance/Operations role with P&L experience
• 5+ years in a senior finance executive role, preferably in a start up environment
• Strong knowledge of US GAAP, internal controls and financial reporting, required
• Excellent organizational, communication, and analytical skills with the ability to prioritize and handle multiple tasks simultaneously in a fast paced environment
