Our growing team at Appetize Technologies, Inc. is looking for a truly exceptional Business Operations Analyst to work with our accounting, executive and sales teams. This is a key role that will wear many hats and will need to utilize strong organizational skills while using very detail oriented eyes. 

Key Areas of Responsibilities

  • Support the development of sales, marketing and operations strategy, understand priorities and execute operational plans
  • Serve as team administrator and work with the various user groups to answer workflow, reporting, and system-related questions 
  • Optimize sales and increase operational efficiencies through innovative thinking, process improvement and system enhancements 
  • Manage multiple concurrent projects and initiatives, drive projects to completion with minimal guidance 
  • Apply quantitative analysis and data visualization to tell the story behind the numbers 
  • Ability to understand, create, and present audience-appropriate deliverable 
  • Assist executive team in developing and maintaining analytics reports and dashboards to provide actionable insights that support data-driven decision-making for the executive leadership teams 
  • Drive process improvement and manage all aspects of Salesforce CRM including workflow, reporting, data integrity and maintenance
  • Analyze & develop financial business models, analysis of financial reports & metrics, and prepare thorough reports used for internal & external stakeholders
  • Develop and update key sales pipeline and performance reporting as well as SaaS-metrics-focused customer base analyses
  • Prepare bi-weekly KPI reports for executive review and discussion
  • Prepare monthly, quarterly, and yearly operating expense variance analysis, analyze results, and communicate findings to leadership

Profile Requirements

  • Academic background in Business, Finance, Accounting or related discipline
  • 3+ years of experience in a banking, VC or start-up environment
  • Experience with analyzing & developing financial business models, analysis of financial reports & metrics and preparation of thorough reports used for internal & external stakeholders
  • Understanding of key SasS sales & financial topics, metrics & processes
  • Advanced level modeling skills in Microsoft Excel
  • Familiarity with Netsuite and Salesforce a plus
  • Experience with SaaS accounting a plus
