PeerStreet is a leading marketplace for investing in real estate backed loans (www.PeerStreet.com). We are seeking an experienced real estate professional for our Real Estate Business Development (Originations) Team. The Associate Relationship Manager will be working in a fast-paced environment and interacting closely with originators, internal teams and various third parties involved in financing transactions.

Key responsibilities

• Help Relationship Managers structure and qualify loans in lending partner pipeline 
• Coach partners on best practices in working with the PeerStreet platform and resources
• Communicate with the lenders regarding PeerStreet’s diligence requirements and help train them on those guidelines. 
• Respond to lender requests for assistance with extensions, payoff requests, appraisals,  loan-specific enquiries, and technical support
• Perform other related duties or special ad hoc projects, as assigned.
• Exercise discretion, independent problem-solving abilities to complete work assignments.
• Help organize the pipeline and communicate with multiple departments to ensure on-time closings
• Work closely with our legal team to ensure lending partners meet PeerStreet’s licensing requirements for individual states

Requirements

• Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting, Finance, Economics or Real Estate preferred.
• Minimum 1-3 years of experience required in lending, real estate, finance or a related field.
• Strong analytical, organizational, and written and verbal communication skills required.
• Ability to multitask while balancing attention to details
