Viant is looking for an Assistant Controller/Corporate Controller. The position will report to Viant’s VP Controller. 

Responsibilities:

• Management and oversight of accounts receivable, billing, accounts payable and general accounting teams in a fast-paced environment
• Management review and oversight of the preparation of financial statements including internal reporting and SEC public reporting duties
• Collaborating with internal audit function while establishing and maintaining internal controls
• Providing monthly, quarterly and year-end analyses on a recurring and ad-hoc basis
• Successfully research accounting issues for compliance with generally accepted accounting principles
• Manage working relationship and overall coordination with Big 4 external auditors
• Help identify and lead key process improvement initiatives in support of the Company and specifically the Accounting and Finance organization

Qualifications:

• 6+ years of accounting/auditing experience
• BA/BS degree in Accounting- Master’s degree in Accounting a plus
• Big 4 firm manager level+ experience highly preferred with public company experience required
• Strong technical accounting experience, SEC reporting, SOX/audit methodologies, and– technology industry experience a plus
• Active CPA required
