What we are looking for…
The Asset Manager will be responsible for the management of lease renewals, transfer of ownership between managed/leased properties, and all transaction coordination for the real estate team. The Asset Manager will be an integral part of the Real Estate team’s ability to operate smoothly and efficiently by assisting the team with seamless end-to-end site acquisitions through the LOI and lease negotiation phases.
What you'll do...
- Manage lease renewals, ownership transitions, and transaction coordination
- Assist in the ongoing development of the Company's lease renewal process
- Conduct a detailed analysis of each lease/project, including:
- (I) identification and interpretation of critical dates, business terms, and problematic lease language,
- (II) key market conditions (such as comparable rents, competitive positioning and potential threats), and
- (III) Current property condition
- Participate in negotiating business and legal terms and conditions for lease renewal and expansion projects to meet the company’s financial parameters and strategic goals
- Ensure lease renewals are finalized prior to expiration of critical dates
- Ensure timely implementation of contract deliverables
- Ensure that department databases are accurate for reporting purposes
- Participate on an on-going basis to improve team efficiency, processes and organization
- Effectively communicating with senior management, legal team and company executive management
- Managing multiple projects and internal clients under tight deadlines
- Additional duties as assigned by management
What you’ll bring…
- 3+ years professional work experience in commercial property management, real estate, or related field
- Transactional Real Estate knowledge and BRE license a plus
- Experience creating and editing real estate contracts
- Interact with employees, homeowners, and clients with poise and diplomacy
- Ability to multitask in fast-paced work environment and maintain a calm demeanor in high-pressure situations
- Ability to compose business letters, expositions, summaries, and reports, using proper format, punctuation, grammar, diction and style
- High level of organization and attention to detail
