Ring is looking for a motivated Accounts Payable Manager to join our rapidly growing team. We’re seeking driven individuals who thrive in a fast-paced environment and can manage multiple priorities – a self-starter who can work independently but who is also a good team-player. This role will receive direction from the corporate accounting manager and corporate controller but will need to be able to pick things up quickly and be able to meet deadlines with multiple tasks. A basic understand of accrual accounting is important. 

Responsibilities

• Oversee company’s global Accounts Payable cycle and supervise A/P specialist
• Review and approve processed invoices, and resolve any discrepancies
• Prepare weekly payment disbursements with projected cash flows
• Manage company’s T&E and P-Card programs
• Maintain correspondence with vendors and ensure proper reconciliation between A/P aging and vendors’ A/R aging
• Responsible for ensuring organization of vendor master and compliance of IRS W-9 forms
• Issue annual IRS 1099 forms
• Establish proper A/P records and digital filing system
• Design and implement business processes and maximizing efficiency within department
• Work with various departments to streamline procurement and payment processes
• Assist with compiling year-end external audit requests
• Manage closing accounts payable module monthly
• Assist with monthly accrual process, including analyzing accounts, preparing and recording journal entries
• Analyze inventory-related accrual accounts
• Prepare month-end account reconciliations
• Assist accounting manager and controller with any adhoc research, clean-up, reporting projects

Requirements

• 5+ years of experience in Accounts Payable in the manufacturing environment
• Dedicated and resourceful
• Able to work independently
• Advanced in MS-Excel (v-lookup, pivot table, sumif, sort, filter, etc.)

Preferred Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting
• 7 years of experience in Accounts Payable in the manufacturing environment
• Experience with NetSuite Accounting
• Experience with systems implementation/integrations
