We’re currently looking for an AR Specialist to join our growing team! From our El Segundo office, this role will report to the Accounting Manager and is a great opportunity for someone looking to expand on their skill set in both AR and other accounting functions. We’re looking for someone who will relish the process of tracking invoices and resolving billing issues, is extremely detail oriented and enjoys collecting money!

Key Responsibilities: 

- Post customer payments and daily deposits

- Generate customer invoices

- Manage credit card processing

- Communicate with customers about billing discrepancies and questions

- Research and resolve payment and billing issues

- Initiate collections on past-due accounts

- Maintain billing and customer records in our ERP (Intact) and Excel files

- Collaborate with sales and other departments to resolve billing issues

- Assist with month-end close, including reconciliations

- Assist the team with ad hoc duties as needed

Qualifications:

- 1+ years’ related experience with AR and billing

- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or related field (or equivalent experience)

- Strong knowledge of Excel (filtering, vlookups, pivot tables, etc.)

- Experience with ERP and AR software ideal (bonus points for cloud ERP - Intact, NetSuite, etc.)

- Great communicator and problem-solver

- Organized and detail-oriented

- Resourceful and flexible – we’re constantly evolving and striving for improvements

- Proactive in raising issues and sharing ideas
