WHO WE ARE LOOKING FOR:

The Trade Desk is seeking an experienced Accounts Payable professional to drive process improvements of the monthly processes and help build a best-in-class function. Reporting to the Accounts Payable Manager and working with a team of accounting professionals worldwide, the Accounts Payable Specialist will help certify the accurate and timely execution of the department processes.

WHAT YOU'LL DO:

  • Manage supplier maintenance including setting up new suppliers, processing vendor maintenance requests and changes, and ensuring vendors are assigned the appropriate business category in the vendor master system.
  • Lead the exploration of tools to improve and automate processes related to supplier maintenance.
  • Assist with annual 1099 filing
  • Play an active role in identification and implementation of a global procurement solution.
  • Use ERP system to issue and track Global Purchase Orders
  • Prepare analyses for use in budgetary and financial reporting processes; including purchase order data, expense reporting statistics and expenditures
  • Program Administrator for One Card program: Responsible for issuing cards, training cardholders, ensuring timely submission of transactions, and adherence to company policy is followed
  • Review and processes NA employee expense reports through Concur
  • Provide assistance in ad-hoc / special projects as required


WHO YOU ARE:

  • A dedication to teamwork, collaboration, and flexibility
  • 5+ years of experience in a corporate accounting position
  • Demonstrated experience applying innovative ideas to new or recurring work processes
  • Acute attention to detail
  • Outstanding communication skills – including written and verbal communications, interpersonal, analytical, negotiating and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to juggle multiple high priorities and have a willingness to learn
  • Intermediate to advanced knowledge of Excel and spreadsheet applications
  • Experience in accounting close processes and accounting systems
