About The Role:

We are investing heavily in Accounting in 2019 and are seeking an Accounting Manager who will work closely with our Controller and VP of Finance. You’ll have the opportunity to elevate the accounting department by providing world class accounting skills as well as being a part of creating and implementing accounting processes and procedures.

What You'll Do

• Managing all payments and expenditures
• Reconciling processed work by verifying entries and comparing system reports to balances
• Maintaining historical records
• Paying employees by verifying expense reports and preparing reimbursement ACHs/checks
• Paying vendors by scheduling pay checks and ensuring payment is received for outstanding credit
• Responding to all vendor inquiries regarding status
• Work with vendors to reconcile all disputes items
• Credit card reconciliations
• Chassis reconciliations
• Review and daily and weekly processing billing/invoices for proper G/L coding and departments

What You'll Have

• 7+ years Accounts Payable experience preferred with a minimum of 2+ years as an Accounts Payable Supervisor and/or Accounts Payable Manager
• Supervisory expense required
• Logistics, transportation, or freight industry experience is preferred, but not required.
• Must be highly dependable and detail-oriented with the ability to manage many tasks
• Qualified candidates will be a team player
• Proficiency with Google Suite (Gmail) MS Office (Excel and Word), Netsuite or other accounting systems
• Accrual experience preferred
