Neat Brands seeks a highly organized, detail-oriented, ambitious Accounting Manger for its portfolio of e-commerce entities.

Reporting to the CFO, the Accounting Manager will lead, and grow, the accounting team and be primarily responsible for efficiently managing the group’s monthly close, consolidated reporting and end-to-end systems.

Responsibilities:

• Supervise detailed workflows for all accounting processes and reporting
• Own balance sheet reconciliations and schedules for all divisions, and consolidate up to parent company
• Ensure gross margins - by sales vertical, product line, etc - are accurately tracked; manage appropriate revenue & cost deferrals
• Ensure accurate and efficient management of all vendor and customer PO’s
• Manage approvals and financial controls for vendor payments and corporate credit cards
• Ensure the company’s books and processes are GAAP-compliant and “audit-ready”
• Bank compliance certification and reporting
• Manage master calendar for government licensure, renewals, reporting, etc.
• Add value by offering analysis and driving process improvement across the admin and ops depts

Required Qualifications:

• At least 3 years of experience in full-charge, accrual-based accounting for a high-growth eEcommerce company, or technology-driven retail or manufacturing enterprise
• Familiarity with inventory accounting is a must
• Experience managing at least one direct report
• Experience accounting for multiple business channels, each with their own specific data streams and administrative needs
• Quickbooks Online advanced user
• Microsoft Excel advanced user
• Proficiency and adaptability with online finance and business tools like Bill.com, Expensify, GoogleSuite, Asana, etc
• Must be comfortable in a fast-paced, rapidly changing environment

Valuable Qualifications:

• Experience accounting for a multi-corporate, LLC structure
• Experience implementing an ERP, and/or optimizing multiple software solutions, connected in an API environment
• Ability to work within precise, highly detailed structures while maintaining a vision of the big picture
• Cash forecasting and/or basic financial modeling
• Experience in analysis and/or due diligence for M&A transactions, both upstream and downstream
• Desire to grow in responsibility; there is high potential for promotion
