Our finance team is looking for an experienced accountant to manage the accounting process and help position the company to scale. Responsibilities

• Own the monthly close process
• Prepare monthly financials and variance analysis
• Own the A/P process
• Assess accounting impact of new products
• Perform technical research and prepare accounting memos
• Coordinate documentation for audit, tax, and consulting teams
• Review contracts for accounting impact
• Design and implement internal controls
• Identify process improvement
• Comfortable moving between blocking and tackling of accounting and strategic initiatives

Qualifications

• 2-3 years public accounting experience (Big 4 preferred), and
• 2-3 years corporate accounting experience
• CPA preferred
• Oracle ERP experience preferred
• Experience owning the close process
• Strong technical accounting knowledge
• Excel wizard
• Superior attention to detail
• Business acumen to think operationally and strategically beyond accounting
