The GoGuardian Accounting team is looking for an Accounting Coordinator. You will become an expert in all areas of the order-to-cash process while also serving as a primary point of contact to our customers. This highly visible role will work cross-functionally with the Sales Operations team to ensure the efficient execution of the Company’s invoicing and collection processes. The GoGuardian Accounting team is an integral part of what drives our company forward. From constant communication with customers and channel partners to active management of our cash balances to monthly financial reporting, the ideal candidate should possess a genuine curiosity around the nature of business operations and display a proclivity for process improvement and efficiency.

What You'll Do

• Generate customer invoices out of our ERP (Sage Intacct) and post customer payments and daily deposits to the AR subledger
• Help manage credit card processing and reconciliation
• Resolve customer inquiries, including invoice questions and requests, vendor registration forms, and purchase order reconciliations
• Research and resolve payment and billing issues, including collaboration with sales and operations
• Initiate collections on past-due accounts, including following up with phone calls on significantly aged invoices
• Assist with month-end close, including reconciliations
• Assist the team with ad hoc duties as needed

Who You Are

• 1-2+ years’ related experience with accounts receivable and billing
• Bachelor’s degree in accounting or related field (or equivalent experience)
• Basic knowledge of Microsoft Excel
• Experience with ERP and AR software ideal (bonus points for cloud ERP - Intacct, NetSuite, etc.)
• Great communicator and problem-solver
• Organized and detail-oriented
• Resourceful and flexible – we are constantly evolving and striving for improvements
• Proactive in raising issues and sharing ideas
