We’re currently looking to add a full-time, salaried Accountant to our team. You’d report to and enjoy mentorship from our COO, who’s excited about working with someone committed to becoming a world-class professional at a company with huge growth potential.
You’ll work with other dedicated employees at our ocean view office in Brentwood, located on a walkable, transportation-friendly street on San Vicente Boulevard near great restaurants. There are also many other benefits on top of competitive pay. We don’t think you’ll be disappointed.
Duties
Your initial duties are to:
1) Perform weekly bank reconciliations.
2) Submit payments to suppliers on a weekly basis, or send invoices to customers on a weekly basis.
3) Use ADP to process accounts payable or accounts receivable, and payroll.
4) Perform monthly end close and prepare other financial reports for our outside CPA.
5) Work closely with the executive team to manage cash flow.
6) Manage bank accounts.
7) Document expenses.
8) Take on more challenging work as you advance in your role.
Experience, Skills
No particular experience is necessary. Preference for someone with
1) Bachelor’s degree in accounting
2) Passion and proficiency for financial data
3) Proficiency with Excel
4) Proficiency in QuickBooks
5) Proficiency with ADP
6) 3-5 years of accounting work experience at a tech company, or another company
7) CPA certification
Aptitudes
We’re looking for someone who has these natural aptitudes.
1) Detailed - you catch typos other people miss.
2) Organized - making lists that look like a college course outline makes you happy.
3) Persistent, especially with communication - you’ll stick to something until you’ve done it right. You always text and email back, even if it’s just to say “got your message.”

Salary, Benefits
$45-60K per year, with health care benefits and vacation accrual starting after successful completion of your 90-day probationary period.
