We are currently seeking a talented and enthusiastic Senior Accountant. We are looking for an extremely detail-oriented individual who enjoys working in a team-based environment.

  • Primary focus on revenue cycle for theatrical exhibitors, including:
    • Weekly and monthly reporting of ticket sales to exhibitors
    • Calculate monthly payments based on contractual agreement to exhibitors
    • Process ticketing and service fee payments to exhibitors
  • Serve as point of contact for exhibitors
    • Address revenue cycle questions from exhibitors
    • Research reporting variances and discrepancies
  • Organize and maintain monthly accounting records
  • Responsible for month-end close process for assigned area, including preparing and posting journal entries and revenue reporting
  • Complete month-end account reconciliations, preparation and review, on a timely basis
  • Responsible for data requests from various departments
  • Ability to multi-task and work in a fast paced environment
  • Complete ongoing accounting projects
  • Other various special projects as assigned

- Bachelor’s degree in accounting
- Minimum of 4+ years of prior accounting experience, with strong analytical skills
- Technology, startup, or internet industry a plus
- Intermediate to expert level MS Excel and Word skills are required
- Strong interpersonal skills
- Ability to prioritize, multi-task and work in a fast-paced environment
- Supportive teamwork attitude
- Ability to work independently
- Project management experience
- Prior experience with SAP/Business Warehouse preferred
- Understanding of general ledger functionality
- Must be available and willing to work extended hours as occasionally needed (during crunch times!) per day or per week, including weekends and holidays, to meet business needs
- Must maintain regular and acceptable attendance at such level as is determined at Fandango’s sole discretion
