Netflix’s Finance Program Management Office (PMO) is looking for an experienced Finance M&A integration professional to drive the end-to-end finance integration journey from confirmatory due diligence through integration strategy, planning and execution. You will work closely with the M&A Integration Management Office (IMO) and serve as the bridge between Finance teams and the core integration team throughout the M&A process from evaluation to execution. This position reports to the Director, M&A - Finance.

This is a hybrid position that can be based in either Los Angeles or Los Gatos and offers the flexibility to work remotely part-time. Occasional travel may be required to other office locations, including internationally.

Responsibilities:

Ensure critical controls, processes, and reporting capabilities are operational at close.

  • Maintain a modular Finance Integration Playbook, including diligence checklists, Day 1 readiness plans, 30/60/90/100-day task libraries, standard deal playbook templates, communications plan approaches, Employee Day 1 plans, and systems migration frameworks, updated continuously with learnings from each deal

  • Proactively manage risks and anticipate potential issues that pose a threat to achieving project goals; propose and implement issue or risk-mitigating strategies.

Stakeholder Management and Business Engagement

  • Cultivate strong stakeholder relationships and maintain effective communication channels. Provide stakeholders with project decisions and milestone tracking. Ensure executive sponsors are informed via status updates and appropriate escalations.

  • Collaborate with Finance business leads, the Integration Management Office (IMO), Talent, Technology, Legal, Corporate Development, and other cross-functional deal teams to deliver integration solutions that meet or exceed business stakeholders' needs.

  • Serve as the Finance point of contact within the broader deal IMO structure, representing finance workstream status, risks, and dependencies in integration steering committee updates.

  • Liaise with acquired Finance teams during transition, ensuring continuity and minimal disruption to close cycles and business operations.

Change Management

  • Contribute to change management for finance process and system changes resulting from integrations, including chart of accounts harmonization, legal entity consolidation, ERP/tool migrations, etc.

  • Partner with the integration core team to develop change management plans for key cross-functional milestones, including Employee Day 1, vendor analysis, etc.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree required (business or finance preferred).

  • 7+ years in finance or finance systems; with 5+ years finance project or program management.

  • 3+ years leading Finance M&A integrations, including due diligence support, Day 1 planning, and post-close integration.

  • Strong knowledge of finance and accounting principles is highly preferred.

  • Demonstrated ability to build trust and drive alignment across Legal, Talent, Technology, and Integration Management Office (IMO) stakeholders who may have competing timelines, incentives, or risk tolerances.

  • Curiosity about and comfort with learning new tools and technologies, including AI‑assisted solutions, and the ability to translate business needs into clear, structured requirements.

  • Comfort operating under time pressure and confidentiality constraints typical of deal environments.

  • Strong executive presence paired with the ability to synthesize complex, fast-moving integration status into clear, decision-ready updates for senior leadership and deal sponsors.

  • Adaptability and sound judgment when processes are being defined in real time.

  • CPA or any professional finance accreditation is a plus.

  • Project Management Professional (PMP) certification is a plus.

What you need to know about the Los Angeles Tech Scene

Los Angeles is a global leader in entertainment, so it’s no surprise that many of the biggest players in streaming, digital media and game development call the city home. But the city boasts plenty of non-entertainment innovation as well, with tech companies spanning verticals like AI, fintech, e-commerce and biotech. With major universities like Caltech, UCLA, USC and the nearby UC Irvine, the city has a steady supply of top-flight tech and engineering talent — not counting the graduates flocking to Los Angeles from across the world to enjoy its beaches, culture and year-round temperate climate.

Key Facts About Los Angeles Tech

  • Number of Tech Workers: 375,800; 5.5% of overall workforce (2024 CompTIA survey)
  • Major Tech Employers: Snap, Netflix, SpaceX, Disney, Google
  • Key Industries: Artificial intelligence, adtech, media, software, game development
  • Funding Landscape: $11.6 billion in venture capital funding in 2024 (Pitchbook)
  • Notable Investors: Strong Ventures, Fifth Wall, Upfront Ventures, Mucker Capital, Kittyhawk Ventures
  • Research Centers and Universities: California Institute of Technology, UCLA, University of Southern California, UC Irvine, Pepperdine, California Institute for Immunology and Immunotherapy, Center for Quantum Science and Engineering
