Job Responsibilities
  • Develop and manage department-level budgets, ensuring alignment with overall company goals.
  • Oversee organization-wide spending and approvals, implementing efficient financial controls.
  • Create and manage savings and cash flow plans to strengthen financial health.
  • Coordinate with external accountants/tax advisors to ensure accurate tax filings and compliance.
  • Maintain and improve financial bookkeeping processes, ensuring timely and accurate records.
  • Monitor departmental expenses and enforce budgets.
  • Prepare monthly and quarterly financial reports for leadership review.
  • Partner with leadership to build a long-term financial strategy for the company.
  • Implement financial systems, tools, and best practices to support scaling.
Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field (CPA or MBA preferred).
  • 4+ years of experience in finance, accounting, or controlling roles.
  • Strong knowledge of budgeting, forecasting, and financial reporting.
  • Hands-on experience with bookkeeping/accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, NetSuite, Hubspot ).
  • Solid understanding of US GAAP and tax compliance.
  • Excellent analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
  • Strong communication skills; ability to work cross-functionally with department heads.
Nice to Have
  • Experience in SaaS / services-based businesses.
  • Background in working with startups or high-growth companies.
  • Experience setting up financial systems and processes from the ground up.
