About the Role
The Finance Manager – Supply Chain is a consummate professional who operates with a high level of integrity and supports the Finance and Supply Chain teams in assembling, analyzing, improving and developing conclusions and actionable plans on all matters relating to Inventory and supply chain management. The Finance Manager – Supply Chain will partner with the VP, FP&A to align tactical and strategic financial activities with the short and long-term plan of the business.
Key Responsibilities
- Responsible for monthly cost of goods sold forecasting and annual budget preparation and analysis
- Partner with both the Finance and Supply Chain team to achieve cost reduction initiatives
- Prepare analysis in comparing factors affecting prices and profitability of products
- Analyze changes in product design, raw materials, and manufacturing methods to determine effects on costs
- Manage the cost of products with independent co-packers
- Lead and manage the excess and obsolete inventory process by partnering with inventory control team
- Perform analysis and variance analysis for all SKUs
- Prepare, review, and present financial schedules such as fluxes, absorption tests, excess capacity analysis and other ad hoc schedules
- Prepare monthly actual vs. plan (forecast/budget) variance analysis for decision making support
- Responsible for analyzing and preparing KPIs
- Coordinating with cross functional team leads to discuss and resolve issues in areas impacting production such as purchasing, accounts payable, receiving, and shipping
- Review all inventory, freight-in & freight-out AP transactions
- Maintain and improve processes and controls associated with manufacturing costs and inventory valuation
- Ensure validity and accuracy of ERP through analysis, internal audit, and coordination with inventory control, production and work order processing
Qualifications Requirements:
- BS in Finance, Operations or Economics or advanced degree (preferred but not required)
- 5+ years of relevant experience and deep operational knowledge in a standard cost manufacturing environment, preferably a CPG company
- Advanced proficiency with ERP systems, with NetSuite experience preferred
- Strong computer skills with advanced Excel proficiency
- Must have experience working in multi-currency environments to support future growth
- Excellent organizational, written, and verbal communication skills
- Willingness to travel up to 15%

The typical salary range for this position is: $120,000 - $135,000
