Position Overview
Manager – Finance plays a key role in supporting financial performance management and data-driven decision-making across the organization. Reporting to the VP of Finance, this position serves as a strategic partner to Finance, Operations, and Portfolio Management teams by providing advanced portfolio analytics, operational insights, and corporate finance support that drive business performance and value creation.
This role operates at the intersection of operational finance, corporate finance, capital markets, analytics, and emerging AI-enabled technologies. The Manager will lead property and portfolio analyses, support enterprise financial planning activities, oversee management reporting, and help drive continuous improvement through automation, enhanced data integration, and advanced analytical tools.
The ideal candidate is a highly analytical finance professional with strong communication skills, a collaborative approach, and the ability to translate complex financial and operational information into clear business insights. This role offers broad exposure to portfolio performance, corporate finance initiatives, executive decision-making, and strategic projects within a dynamic real estate investment platform.
Key Responsibilities:
  • Prepare analysis of property and portfolio operating performance, identifying trends, risks, and opportunities across revenue, occupancy, leasing activity, operating expenses, margins, and NOI.
  • Partner with Asset Management, Leasing, and Portfolio Management teams to translate operational activity into actionable financial insights and support performance improvement initiatives.
  • Develop and maintain portfolio-level reporting, dashboards, and key performance metrics that enhance visibility into operational and financial results.
  • Prepare financial analyses, scenario modeling, and sensitivity analyses to support strategic business decisions and financing initiatives.
  • Analyze monthly and quarterly operating results, prepare variance analyses, and support executive reporting, earnings-related analyses, and management presentations.
  • Support enterprise financial planning and forecasting activities through analysis of business trends, portfolio performance, and key financial drivers.
  • Partner with Finance and Investor Relations to support quarterly earnings preparation, including performance analysis, development of supporting materials, key messaging, variance explanations, and executive briefing materials used in earnings call preparation.
  • Lead initiatives to improve reporting efficiency, analytical capabilities, and decision-making through automation, data integration, business intelligence tools, and AI-enabled solutions.
  • Conduct ad hoc analyses, market research, and benchmarking studies to support strategic decision-making and business performance improvement.
  • Mentor and provide guidance to analysts and other finance team members while promoting analytical rigor, collaboration, and continuous improvement.
Position Requirements
  • Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, Real Estate, or a related field.
  • 5+ years of experience in corporate finance, FP&A, real estate finance, portfolio analytics, investment analysis, or a related analytical role.
  • Experience working with publicly traded REITs or commercial real estate investment organizations.
  • Advanced proficiency in financial modeling and Excel, with strong PowerPoint and presentation skills.
  • Strong analytical mindset with the ability to synthesize large datasets and translate insights into actionable business recommendations.
  • Experience analyzing financial statements, including income statements, balance sheets, and cash flow statements.
  • Demonstrated ability to leverage automation, analytics tools, or AI-enabled platforms to improve financial processes, analyses, and reporting.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to effectively interact with senior leaders and cross-functional stakeholders.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and initiatives in a dynamic, fast-paced environment.

Preferred:
  • Experience using data visualization and reporting tools such as Power BI, Tableau, or similar platforms.
  • Experience supervising, mentoring, or leading analysts and junior finance professionals.
  • Understanding of REIT financial metrics, real estate valuation methodologies, and capital markets concepts.
  • MBA, CFA, CPA, or other relevant professional designation.
  • Offering a salary of $110k - $130k plus generous cash incentives
