- Set clear expectations, priorities, and guardrails so the team can operate with independence and accountability.
- Develop talent through stretch assignments, exposure to senior leadership, actionable feedback, and thoughtful career discussions.

Own EV propulsion cost strategy
- Serve as the primary leadership contact for complex, cross-program, or sensitive technical and commercial issues in EV propulsion cost.
- Own a distinct business area within PPCO (e.g., EV propulsion cost portfolio), acting as the go-to expert on cost drivers, design trade-offs, and supplier economics.
- Translate enterprise and PPCO strategies into clear direction, roadmaps, and KPIs for your team.

- Provide clear, data-driven perspectives that connect engineering decisions, supplier capabilities, and financial outcomes.
- Resolve competing priorities (cost, performance, timing) across internal stakeholders, ensuring decisions support enterprise value.
- Support GM SMTs and cross-functional teams from both tooling and piece-price perspectives.
Influence at scale
- Lead strategy and implementation for large, visible initiatives (e.g., propulsion cost standards, tools and methodology deployment, major sourcing events, portfolio changes).
- Be accountable for workforce planning, operational execution, and key financial outcomes (e.g., APV, savings, forecast quality) in your area.
