We are seeking an experienced and strategic Capital Finance Manager to be a key player in our financial management team. This individual will be responsible for overseeing the company's capital structure, long-term financing, and capital investment decisions. The Capital Finance Manager will play a vital role in ensuring the company has the necessary funding to support strategic growth initiatives, while optimizing our cost of capital and managing financial risk.

The successful candidate's starting pay will fall within the salary range provided below and is determined based on job-related factors, including, but not limited to, the experience, qualifications, knowledge, skills, geographic work location, and market conditions. Candidates with the minimum necessary experience, qualifications, knowledge, and skillsets for the position should not expect to receive the upper end of the pay range.
• The base pay for this position within Colorado is: $110,000.00 - $184,000.00 annually.
• The base pay for this position within New Jersey is: $110,000.00 - $184,000.00 annually.
• The base pay for this position within the Washington, DC metropolitan area is: $122,000.00 - $203,000.00 annually.
• The base pay for this position within California is: $127,000.00 - $211,000.00 annually.
For all other states, we use geographic cost of labor as an input to develop market-driven ranges for our roles, and as such, each location where we hire may have a different range.

We are seeking an experienced and strategic Capital Finance Manager to be a key player in our financial management team. This individual will be responsible for overseeing the company's capital structure, long-term financing, and capital investment decisions. The Capital Finance Manager will play a vital role in ensuring the company has the necessary funding to support strategic growth initiatives, while optimizing our cost of capital and managing financial risk.
Responsibilities:
- Capex Portfolio Management: Oversee the entire capex process, from initial project submission and financial modeling to post-investment review. Evaluate and challenge project proposals, ensuring alignment with corporate strategy and financial hurdles.
- Financial Planning & Analysis: Develop and manage the long-range capex forecast and annual budget. Provide insightful variance analysis and forecasting on capital spending.
- Cash Flow Management: Model and analyze the cash flow implications of the capex portfolio, working closely with the Treasury team to ensure adequate funding and efficient use of capital.
- Business Partnership: Act as a key financial partner to business units, engineering teams, and senior leadership, providing financial expertise and guidance on capital projects.
- Valuation & Modeling: Build detailed financial models to evaluate the return on investment (ROI), net present value (NPV), and payback period for capital projects.
- Reporting & Communication: Prepare and present regular reports and dashboards to senior management on the status of the capex portfolio, including spending against budget, project performance, and key financial metrics.
Minimum Qualifications:
- Education: Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field. MBA or CFA designation is a plus
- Experience: 6+ years of progressive finance experience, with a focus on capital planning, financial modeling, and corporate finance
- Extensive experience with Capex, P&L, and/or Revenue, OPEX, COGS
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a deep understanding of financial statement analysis and valuation methodologies.
- Expert proficiency in financial modeling and advanced Excel skills.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to articulate complex financial concepts to non-financial stakeholders.
- Proven ability to work collaboratively across departments and influence decision-making.
