We are working with an entertainment/production company based in West Los Angeles who is seeking a Finance Associate to support accounting operations, production finance, and business affairs activities. This role is ideal for someone with a strong accounting foundation who is interested in working in film/TV and is comfortable wearing multiple hats.

Key Responsibilities

  • Process A/P, journal entries, invoices, and bank reconciliations within the ERP system
  • Manage vendor records, expense tracking, and corporate card reconciliations
  • Support payroll processing for talent and internal staff
  • Assist with budgeting and monthly reporting for development projects
  • Prepare ad hoc financial analyses and reports
  • Track and manage participation reporting and revenue receipts
  • Coordinate with external vendors and partners on payments and deal terms
  • Review and track legal agreements, including contracts related to project development
  • Support business affairs with contract tracking and payment schedules
  • Assist with general administrative and office coordination tasks

Qualifications

  • 3–5 years of accounting or finance experience (entertainment or production environment preferred)
  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
  • Strong understanding of GAAP
  • Experience with ERP systems (e.g., Sage Intacct) and Excel
  • Familiarity with production accounting tools is a plus
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
  • Interest in the entertainment industry and ability to manage multiple priorities
